My book series, Call to a Quest, has been a project of mine for the past five years based off my love for Dungeons and Dragons. They were my first stepping stone for storytelling, which I aim to do in either cartooning, directing, or writing.

Call to a Quest:

Mother of Misery
by Matthew Randolph
Months ago, the Southern Continent was nearly destroyed by a beholder named Nyx, who was defeated by none other than Guidway City’s most talented trio: Ivan, a swordsman with an arrogant side, Grog, an Orc chef with a big heart, and Eioffrey, a child with unique blue hair and mysterious magical powers. Eioffrey, Ivan and Grog are faced with the most formidable villains yet: an ominous boy with a hood and vines for arms, a selfish Orc prince, a manipulative woman with a mechanical left eye and the most threatening adversary yet: Themselves. Our heroes must face a new danger that will push them beyond their limits as the sun sets on this trilogy. All these answers will come to light, but not before blood is shed.
